Dying to escape
Shredding knuckles burn against brick walls
Feathers fall from bleeding pillows
All the while with
Shattered glass-cut lines in his cheeks

There’s never pain on the outside
When your heart’s severed from your nerves
Take my hand, hold it tighter
Death is being alone on the moon
You take me there
Let me take you there
